Sample Embedded IoT bring-up review
This sample shows the shape of the paid deliverable. A real review is tailored from the buyer's board, firmware, logs, radio path, gateway/server flow, and deployment blocker.
Example finding
- Device state: the prototype has working sensing and radio demos, but boot logs, provisioning state, power profile, and gateway retry behavior are not captured as one reproducible bring-up path.
- Main risk: tuning firmware, RF, and backend assumptions together can hide whether field failures come from power brownouts, pairing/provisioning, packet loss, or server ingestion.
- Integration decision: split bench validation into boot/debug, sensor stability, radio link, gateway/server handoff, and power-budget lanes before committing to pilot hardware.
Example next experiments
- Capture reset reason, boot log, firmware version, radio join/pairing state, and payload counters for each test run.
- Run a wired-power baseline before deep-sleep or battery tests.
- Record radio RSSI/SNR or Bluetooth link state alongside application-level acknowledgements.
- Only then decide whether the next step is firmware cleanup, antenna/RF work, gateway tuning, or board revision.
